Homestay Hosts: Our Heroes!
Each season, Vero Beach Opera Homestay Hosts open their homes to provide accommodations to our visiting artists. This helps us bring in the best artists in larger numbers because we don't have a lodging expense, AND it’s really fun and enriching for both the hosts and the artists. Twenty-one Homestay Hosts graciously accommodated fifty artists during the 2024 season, saving us 202 nights of lodging expenses. Over the past seven seasons, Homestay Hosts saved Vero Beach Opera 1,375 nights of lodging expenses.
